My name is Mimi Ton, I am a physical therapist currently located in West Los Angeles. My clinical experiences have been in outpatient orthopedic and women's health setting. I began my clinical practice primarily working with patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries; however, as I started to work more with female patients, I discovered that I had a strong interest in helping other women. Currently I help patients with various pelvic floor dysfunctions, pre and post natal, breast cancer survivors, and a variety of orthopedic conditions and injuries.  Having been a patient myself and fully recovered from complex medical conditions including: an autoimmune disease of the skin (psoriasis), a short bout of pelvic pain (interstitial cystitis), and a few years of intermittent persistent tension headache, anxiety/depression, I know what it is like to live with pain and to be free from it. These experiences gave me greater insight to the interconnection between the mind and body.

I consider myself a lifelong learner and my knowledge and clinical skills are constantly evolving to help each patient towards the path of wellness and self-healing. More importantly, I believe that the heart of a true clinician is also an intuitive healer with a deep understanding of the human condition. I am fortunate to have meet such healers in my life as they have inspired me to continually do great work for my community and those around me. I am often moved and motivated by our collective humanity and the kindness that I see in our world. I would like to use this website to share my experiences, my interests, as well as my vision for health and wellness. I am tremendously grateful to have been a part of the lives of my patients, for they have allowed me to fulfill my purpose in life.
